Time Travel - 時を越えて

The day like the movie "Back To The Future" will come?  You travel back and forth between past & future through present with so called a time machine?  We don't know yet. I, however, think our mind can travel somehow.

Anyone has a song, an art, an artist that gives one "Ahh" experience.  It could be a moment of inspiration or something that connects oneself with it or her/him whatever time we live in.

映画「Back To The Future」のような日がいつかやってくるのだろうか?タイムマシーンにのって現在から過去そして未来へ行き来する?どうなんだろう。しかしながら、思考は時を越えてワープさせる事はできるんではないでしょうか?

あなたの周りに、「あ～」と思える瞬間やインスピレーションを、時を越えて運んでくれるもしくは与えてくれる歌、作品、アーティストの方、周りに居ませんか?

I just recently had a chance to read or more like look through a thick "Jason - History of Art" which is quite unusual for me.  (My husband brought it and let it sit in a room.)  My eye went through this book like this.  "OK architecture..."  "Ow Eiffel..." Then on the page of “Eiffel”, I never expected to connect it with "Liberty of New York".  Because page says …

•   (On the Eiffel Tower’s page 742-43) It has become such a visual cliché beloved of tourists – much like the Statue of Liberty, which also involved Eiffel (see fig.908)…
•   (On the Statue of Liberty’s page)This monument in memory of French assistance to America during the War of Independence was a gift of the French people, not of the government.
• (On the Statue of Liberty’s page) Bartholdi found the ideal collaborator in Gustave Eiffel, the future builder of the Eiffel Tower (See pages 742-43 and fig.964).

“Ahh”   Connected.  This is how my mind traveled & was connected over crossing times.  Also we would never know what happened that days.

つい最近 (夫がどこからか持ってきてポンと置いてあった)分厚い本が、ふと気になりました。何気にチラッと見ると「建築様式」。。。ふむふむ「エッフェル塔」が載ってる!。。。のノリで読んでいくと、まさかのまさかの事実が発覚。というか私は知りませんでした。「エッフェル塔」のエンジニアの方、実は「自由の女神」の共同作者でエンジニア面で貢献したんですね。しかも「エッフェル塔」を建てる前の話でした。実は、現在アメリカ観光の象徴とされているあの「自由の女神」は、実はフランスの貢献のお陰もあると言う事です。ちょっとビックリしました。という訳で、こんな形で時を越えてつながるものだなぁ。と思います。「思考の旅」パート1でした。詳しい英本文はそっくりそのまま上記に引用させて戴いております。ご参考までに。

Here is another example of mind traveling. 

When I feel like making a short video, I like to pick up pictures & some sounds.   How do we choose & pick up?  My choices today was Shadow art of Seiji Fujishiro.  Because “Ahh” I like…

• His shadow art very much in my life
• “Ahh” I went to his art of museum at Showsenkyo with my friend once upon a time.
• “Ahh” her 1^st name is same as mine.  But her kanji means a priest.
• “Ahh” I recently read a book “Zen confidential” by Shozan Jack Haubner my husband & I picked
• “Ahh” how is my friend doing over there in Japan
• “Ahh” how Seiji Fujishiro san is doing now?
• “Ahh” he was a creator of character “Keroyon”. Didn’t know that…
• “Ahh” he has opened another museum at NasuKogen.
• “Ahh”  I’m happy to hear his Marchen (German words) work
• “Oh” he got a turning point around of his age 80.
• Now he also expresses what actually happened.
•   Since Tsunami hit the towns, he visited it &sketched & expressed the reality through Art, hoping light for the future.  His work shows Tsunami hit a big ship onto the land.

“Ahh” Connected.  This is how my mind traveled & was connected over crossing times.  Also we would never know what happened that days.

続きまして、「思考の旅」パート2に、行ってみたいと思います。ショートビデオを突然作りたくなる事がある私なのですが、その際に必要になってくるのものがあります。それは、こちら。画像と音。どうやって選ぶんだろうか?　今回ピックアップしたくなったのは、真っ先に「藤城清治の影絵アート」。なんでだろうか?　それは。。。

• ずっと彼の影絵が大好きだから
•   「あ～」その昔、友達と昇仙峡美術館へ行ったなぁ。
•   「あ～」そういや、彼女と同じ名前だったなぁ。彼女はお尚の尚という字だが。
•   「あ～」そういや、禅の和尚さんのぶっちゃけ話の本を読んだなぁ。
•   「あ～」彼女、日本でどうしてるかなぁ。
•   「あ～」藤城清治さんは今どうされてるのかなぁ。
•   「へぇ」ケロヨンの作者だったんだ。知らんかったなぁ。
•   「へぇ」那須高原にも美術館を開かれたのだ。
•   「あ～」今も、昔もメルヘンな作品を創られてるのだなぁ。よかった。
•   「あれっ」80歳を境に、新たな決意も。
• 最近は、現実にも目を向けた作品を創られてるんだ。結構、勇気いりますね。
• 津波以来、実際に現地を訪れて、スケッチし、更には再復興の希望の祈りを込めた作品を創られてるんだ。

「あ～」不思議な形で時を越えてつながるものだなぁ。と思います。

Here is a last example of mind traveling.

My choice of sounds for a short video today was Rush.  Because “Ahh”

• I just shared bunch of music on my i tune with my husband.
• I can pick something from that.
• He texted me by using words “Ahh” actually before I wrote down this writing
• “Ahh” Rush sounds good
• “Ahh” they are Canadian band
• “Ahh” I must learn Canadian history on a book “Klondike” by Pierre Berton my husband picked.
• “Ahh” they got board on the walk of fame in Hollywood a couple of months ago
• While listening, “Ahh” this song sounds matching
• “Ahh” my friends over there like it too.
• “Rush?!”  “Ahh” recently I saw a day’s motto words “No rush” in a company. “Hmmm”  
• “Ahh” album jacket “Gold” reminds me of my friend who recently check vacuum with her cat
•    “Oh” 2112?!  Nice title. It’s for future sounds.  The song is part of “Overture 2112”.

最終段落になりまして、「思考の旅」パート3に行ってみたいと思います。画像に続いて、音。今回ピックアップしたくなったのは「Rush」。なんでだろうか?　それは。。。

• 「あ～」そういえば、昨日、夫と山ほどの曲をI tuneでシェアしたなぁ。
• そこから選ぶか。
• そういえば、本日の文を書く前に夫より「Ahh」を使ったメッセージをもらったなぁ。
• 「あ～」Rush　の曲がいいかも
• 「あ～」カナダのバンドだしなぁ。
• 「あ～」カナダの歴史も学ばないと。夫に買ってもらった本も読まないと。
• 「あ～」Rush、そういえば、ハリウッドのWalk of Fameに殿堂入りしたなぁ。
• 聴いている最中、「この曲」がピッタリかなぁ。
• 「あ～」私の友達、ファンだったなぁ。
•   Rush?!　そう言えば、ある会社の一日モットーの一部に「 No Rush」ってあったなぁ。
• アルバムGoldのジャケットを見てると、新しい掃除機を猫と一緒にチェックする友人を思わすなぁ。
• 「2112」未来へ向けてのいいタイトルやなぁ。曲名「 Overture 2112」かぁ。いいなぁ。

「あ～」なんだか、勝手に時を越えて思考がつながってしまうもんだなぁ。と思います。

 After all, mind can travel crossing times & possibly space in a daily life.  “Ahh” One of my friends has asked me “what are you really thinking in daily life?  Hahaha!” The truth is I don’t really think so much.  Just something pops up simply & I seem to observe my mind like “Ahh”.  Maybe what I am thinking is mostly eating:)  “Ahh”  I forgot to introduce my short video.  I’m happy to have introduced all the artists today.  I’m also happy when you feel something from this writing or short video.  If not, that’s ok too.

どうでしょう。思考は時も越えるし、時空も超える。日常生活よくある事ではないでしょうか。「あ～」そういえば、1人の友達が私に訊ねたことがあります。「一体、何を考えてるのぉ?(笑)」本当のところ、私はそんなたいして考えてません。以前にも申し上げましたが、ポケーッとしてます。ポンポンと何かが浮かんで、なんとなくそれを見たり「あ～」などと感じたりしているようです。おそらく、何を考えているのか答えなさいと言うならば、もっぱら「食べる事」だと思います:)　「あ～」肝心なショートビデオを紹介するのを忘れてました。本日は、たくさんのアーティストの方々を紹介させていただく事ができて光栄です。このショートビデオと共に、本日の文を読んで何かを感じて戴けたら幸いです。もちろん、そうではなくても、普通ですよ。
