Moment of Time - 決定的な瞬間

October this year for me is somehow writing days.  Strange. 

今年の10月は書き書き週間のよう。なんだか変です。

Recently I had a thrilling moment of capturing what sun was doing.  “Indiana Johns!”  Just like a scene “Only when one point is on sunlight pathway exactly inside a pyramid, this box will open with key”   This will happen only when a specific time & a specific space play with sun.   Whenever I come across rare moment, I’m simply happy. 

最近、「ちょっとインディアナジョーンズ」みたいなシーンに出くわし、嬉しかったです。どんなシーンかというと。。。よく皆さんもご存知かと思いますが、「ぴか～ん、ピラミッドの中のある一点に太陽の光が差し込んだ時、秘密の箱が開く。」のような瞬間です。これって、まさに日常生活でも見られるんですね。ただし、やはり特定の時、特定の空間そして太陽が必要になってきます。こういった一寸の瞬間に偶然でくわすと、いつもワクワクします。

That’s one of how I enjoy taking photos.  I was not in the position of taking photos at all on that day.  Somehow I took a glance of trees and “Oh” I saw the point 2 glowing. “Ahh beautiful.”  “Ok let’s get back”  but on that day I detoured to turn around.  Then  “?!” I saw a long shade & light.  As they lead, I reached point 3.  ‘Wow Sun beam! between buildings!”  I was totally excited about a view of sunlight & shade with specific time.  All the more because it happened unexpectedly. That’ one of my favorite style.   

こんな風にして写真を楽しんでます。その日は、全く写真の写の字も頭に浮かんでなかったのですが。なんとなくチラっと木に目をやったら、「お～ポイント2の地点がなんか鮮やかになってる。」「さぁ、とりあえず帰るか」と思ったけど、なぜか遠回りすることに。その視線の先には、「おっ、なんか長～い光と影絵が見えるぞ?!」あとは導かれるままにポイント3に居ました。「わぁ。ビルの隙間から太陽ビーム」すっかり、とりこになっってしまいました。これって特定の時間にしか起こらないなぁ。て思うと余計に嬉しくなるもんです。起こそうと思って起こすものじゃないところが、余計にそそられます。これ、実は私の好きなスタンス。

Yes.  This is also one of how I enjoy taking photos.   Coming across a rare scene unexpectedly than trying to take something in well prepared position.  This is my simple thought or discovery after all of experience.   It’s a contradiction.   Sometimes no focus.    Weird:)  Also Thanks for such a lucky moment:)

This is how I took a route, Tech Tech :)  (Tech Tech is one of Japanese expression of when we write about how one walks.  It’s not about technic of how to.  It’s not like sounds such as oink:) to express how pig calls in English.  It’s about words of ambience that translate from sense to sounds.  It’s called “Gitai-go”.  Japanese have so many Gitai-go.  I think that’s part of who I am:)  Tech Could be Tek.  I just translate from Japanese sounds to English letter.   By the way, I started with point1.

私にとって、写真を撮る醍醐味はこれですね。撮ろうと思って構えてとるより、偶然のタイミングでシーンが飛び込んでくる。これが一番好きです。あまり考えた事なかったですが、これ今回の発見でした。少し矛盾しますが、写真撮影は時には、フォーカスしないこと。実は、ずっとこのスタンスで撮ってきたような気がします。摩訶不思議。ラッキーな瞬間につくづく感謝です。

ちなみにこんな感じでテクテクしました。そういえば、テクテクで思い出しましたが、日本語は擬態語が多いなぁ。そんな私も、よく使うかな:)　あっ、一応下の図で、ポイント1からスタートしました。
